His political career has involved building relationships across the state’s three senatorial districts and working with stakeholders from different backgrounds.
His consensus-building approach was evident during his leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly, where he served consecutive terms as Speaker, and continues to inform his approach to governance as Governor of Delta State.
A Compassionate Leader
Beyond public office, Governor Oborevwori has supported educational and economic empowerment initiatives, including scholarships for students and assistance for entrepreneurs, traders and artisans through initiatives associated with the Oborevwori Foundation.
In recognition of his contributions to the development of Okpe Kingdom, he was conferred with the traditional title of Ukodo of Okpe by HRM Orhorho I, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.
